As ENL teachers and Career & Technical Ed teachers, learn how to foster and implement Standards 2 and 3a of the CDOS Learning Standards. Participants will discuss how to identify academic knowledge and skills in the workplace environment, use an interdisciplinary approach, use a variety of communication technologies, foster personal qualities that lead to responsible behavior, relate to people of different ages and from diverse backgrounds, and manage information and technology to complete tasks and communicate in the workplace. How does the ENL teacher partner in the career/technical environment to replicate the truly multilingual atmosphere of most workplaces?
